Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Ring in Platinum

Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Ring

Circa 1930, this platinum Art Deco ring is a stunning example of the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the era. With its clean, crisp lines, dramatic details, and striking use of color, this ring sparks conversation and envy from all who see it.

Old Mine Cut Diamonds

Two M color SI1 clarity diamonds sit north to south at the center of this ring. Their unique faceting and open culet suggest that these diamonds are much older than the ring itself, estimated to be circa 1880. This ring was likely custom-designed around two heirloom diamonds.

French Cut Sapphires

Twenty rich blue and wonderfully matched French cut sapphires form the outer border of this ring. Their striking color provides the perfect contrast for the icy platinum milgrain that decorates their edges.

Unmatched Details

The shank of this Art Deco ring was hand-engraved with a stylized arrow pattern, drawing the eye up to the sculptural leaf-inspired shoulders. The creator of this ring had an expert artistic vision and spared no details.
